First Place Freedoms Return Home Against Lasers

PHILADELPHIA – The Freedoms have been riding a big two game win streak into tonight’s match-up. The first place Freedoms will take on the visiting Springfield Lasers, who suffered a 24-19 loss to the Freedoms this past Sunday. The match is scheduled to start at approximately 7:00pm ET. * The 5-1 Freedoms hold a half game lead of first place, ahead of the 5-2 Washington Kastles and San Diego Aviators.

* The Freedoms remain perfect on the road, with their only loss of the season coming at home.

* Gabriela Dabrowski, a top five Women’s Doubles player in the world, will make her season debut tonight.

* Taylor Townsend continues to dominate in both Women’s Singles and Doubles, as she leads the league in games won in both categories.

* Kevin King has continued to play some solid tennis, as he continues to lead Men’s Singles in games won (24).

* The Lasers are trying to avoid a three-game losing streak going into tonight.

* On Sunday, rookie Miromir Kecmanovic defeated Kevin King in a close singles match, 5-4.

* Head Coach John-Laffnie De Jager is in his 12thseason as the Lasers Coach and 19thoverall with WTT.
