Freedoms star Taylor Townsend shared an emotional video on social media on Wednesday announcing the arrival of her first child in 2021.
“Life has a funny way of putting you exactly where you are supposed to be. I’m so excited to embark on the journey of motherhood!!” Townsend wrote.
Townsend has played 6 seasons for the Freedoms and was named the 2019 World TeamTennis Female MVP after a dominating season in which she went undefeated in women’s singles matches.
